ABOUT THE BUSINESS
A value-added reseller is an authorized partner that purchases hardware and software from manufacturers and resellers, then provides additional value through expert selection, configuration, deployment, and support. Unlike buying directly from a retailer, working with a VAR means you get a technology expert who helps you choose the right products, sources them at competitive pricing, and ensures everything is set up correctly for your environment.
I work with businesses of all sizes — from startups and small businesses to mid-size companies and enterprise organizations. My clients span industries including finance, healthcare, legal, manufacturing, and professional services, across Canada, the United States, Australia, and beyond.
Absolutely. I currently serve clients across Canada, the United States, and Australia, and I'm equipped to work with organizations anywhere in the world. Most engagements are handled remotely, with on-site work available where needed.
SERVICES & PROCUREMENT
As an authorized VAR, I have access to hundreds of vendors including Cisco, Microsoft, Dell Technologies, HPE, Lenovo, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Sophos, and many more. If you have a specific brand or product in mind, reach out and I can confirm availability and pricing.
It's straightforward. You tell me what you need — or we work together to figure out the right solution — and I source it from my vendor network at VAR pricing. I handle configuration specs, ordering, and can arrange delivery and deployment. For most standard requests, I can turn around a quote the same business day.
Both. Some clients engage me for a specific project — a hardware refresh, a security audit, or a network deployment — while others retain me on an ongoing basis for continuous support, license management, and security monitoring. I'm flexible and happy to structure an engagement that fits your needs.
Absolutely. Many of my clients have in-house IT staff and bring me in for specialized cybersecurity expertise, vendor access, or to augment capacity on larger projects. I work collaboratively with existing teams and can operate as an extension of your IT department.
PRICING & PROCESS
Pricing depends on the type and scope of engagement. Hardware and software procurement is quoted per order at competitive VAR pricing. Consulting and advisory services are typically scoped and quoted as a fixed project fee or hourly rate depending on the nature of the work. Reach out for a no-obligation quote.
The easiest way is to fill out the contact form or send an email directly. I'll get back to you the same day in most cases. From there we'll have a brief conversation to understand your needs, and I'll put together a recommendation or quote from there — no commitment required.
For hardware and software procurement requests, I typically turn around quotes the same business day, provided you include the necessary specs and quantities. More complex consulting scopes may take a day or two to put together properly.
SECURITY & COMPLIANCE
I have experience working across a range of frameworks and standards including NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PIPEDA (Canada), CCPA (California), and the Australian Privacy Act 1988. If your business operates across multiple jurisdictions, I can help align your security posture to meet all applicable requirements.
Call directly — don't wait for email. I provide incident response support including containment, investigation, and recovery. Time is critical in a security incident, so direct phone contact is always the fastest path to getting help.
